Our governor always tries to keep up the headspeed as requested in best way. It also gives us no information about the current percentage like a Jive or others to set up the right pinion. But ... there is a way to estimate this ;-)

Use a bluetooth module and a battery charged with approximatley 60% of its capacity. Now get into a hover and watch the throttle bar at the main flight page (a buddy should do this).

This bar should be at approximately 65..75% of its height at the rpm you want to check to give the controller enough headroom for load and to be safe with the ESC heat.

If the bar will be too short use a smaller, if too long a bigger pinion.
