When starting a new setup, it is best to only connect the RC power supply (or use an auxiliary battery if necessary). This will prevent the servos from starting up accidentally and causing tension. At this point, no slave or telemetry needs to be connected.

To start with, we recommend using one of the 3 presets - depending on the size of the helicopter. The small scaler has a rotor diameter of 1.60m and weighs around 7.5kg, the medium one has 1.80m and weighs 10kg, and the large one has 2.36m and weighs 22kg. The presets are a starting point and are uncritical to fly.

As soon as the setup is loaded, please enter the model name. Then specify the position of the master VBar, this is essential for all corrections to the control loop. The direction of rotation of the main rotor completes this area.
