If tightened too much, the two lower screws holding the bottom of the case of your VBar Control Touch may apply strain to the backside of the display inside. This may lead to permanent damage to the display.
As an immediate measure, please loosen those two screws by 1-2 turns, and tighten them only so much until you feel a slight drag with just the finger tips working the tool.
As a permanent solution, please replace the existing M3x20 screws by M3x18 or put spacers below the socket head (1-2 mm or 1/32-1/16 in), to avoid accidental damage to the display.
